"Great place, super helpful staff, great location - canal on one side and bars/restaurants on the other, great little food and drink stand in the lobby, water machines on each floor with sparkling Or still water - no complaints"
"High quality hotel in a great location. Short walk from/to the main train station. Within walking distance to museums, shopping, and lots of great restaurants. Definitely recommend adding the breakfast buffet to any stay."
"Here’s a more polished and professional version that still conveys your disappointment:
It was my first time in London, and I chose this hotel primarily because of its excellent location, which did not disappoint. The hotel itself has great potential, and the facilities were enjoyable.
Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by the service at the front desk. I found several staff members to be unprofessional and unhelpful, which made what should have been an exciting trip much less enjoyable.
It’s a shame because the hotel and its location are truly great. With better customer service and a more welcoming attitude from the reception team, this could be an outstanding place to stay.
I sincerely hope management takes steps to improve the guest experience, as the staff’s behavior left such a negative impression that I would hesitate to return despite all the hotel’s positive qualities."
"Great location, friendly staff, & clean. Appreciated the laundrette! However room was disappointing. So small we could barely move around the bed & we are slim. Altho all photos showed sheer curtains for privacy, our room only had blackout drapes-so no privacy or complete darkness & our room looked out to a back alley area facing dozens of windows. We also had a large support column right in front of the closet and in the path to the washroom. Hard to navigate. And, no luggage rack or bench to put luggage on. Limited breakfast on offer."
"Wonderful hotel. Great location for Trafalgar Square, Soho, Chinatown, theatre area, galleries etc. Such friendly, welcoming staff. Great room - spacious and very clean. Excellent facilities. Next time we visit London we will return!"
"We very much enjoyed the property. From the lobby reception area, fitness center, restaurant and bar were all very well maintained. Modern look and feel. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. Best of all was the location. Five to ten minute walk to London Eye and Thames South Bank and just another five minutes to Parliament, Westminster Underground. Looking forward to staying there again."
