French Polynesia Hotels

Nicest OWB we have stayed in the French Polynesia! Staff was excellent and quite beautiful location. Only thing we would have changed a little was some additional lunch and dinner options at the restaurant. Food was excellent, breakfast included, just was looking for salads and more simple things. Overall we would highly recommend Le Tikehau!

Absolutely beautiful well maintained property! We stayed 3 days out of 6 at this location and we should have stayed here the whole time. Exquisite grounds and comfortable bungalows with every home amenity you need. The host was very hospitable and a joy. You will be treated at a very high standard and feel like you are on vacation. I cannot recommend this place enough. Dont bother booking anywhere else.

We booked the honeymoon cottage, which is a separate ocean-front fare surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. It has a canopy bed and a single bed where we set our suitcases. There is a fully furnished kitchenette with a half size fridge, cooktop, microwave, coffeemaker and kettle, and toaster. All the cookware and dishes are furnished as well. We love shopping at the local markets and preparing our own meals, so this was perfect! Bring your own coffee or tea, and seasonings. Pizza Daniel...

You will be amazed! This is a very personal hotel with unique decorations and plants and flowers. The meal service is exceptional and memorable - bring your camera! Everything is done to make you feel at home and pampered. It is better than the Ritz in terms of service. Try it - you'll like it!

I can’t say enough about the hospitality extended to us by Michel, the proprietor. He was so kind, and really made us feel at home. The shared space in the kitchen was really fun. We enjoyed the opportunity to be to meet and talk with other guests. Come here if you want a very comfortable place to relax without the corporate polish of other resorts. We loved our stay at Residence Sunset Beach! Alex was very friendly and helpful during check in, and the room was spotless and perfect for our stay! We especially loved the beach access from our unit and stargazing from the back yard and beach at night. The property was conveniently located near a number of great local restaurants. I had a wonderful time at the Ninamu Resort. I felt welcome from the moment I was picked up at the airport to the sent off three days later. I was the only guest during my stay, but the couple who was in charge always made sure that I was being offered the free excursions that came as part of the booking (a trip to the organic farm, the bird island, the manta ray cleaning station, kayaking, snorkeling, etc) . I loved that you could not hear roosters. I liked how the beaches were raked and kept tidy every day.

This was our first visit to Tahiti and our first stop was Moorea. This hotel is something we will always remember. The staff are the friendliest people we've ever met...Every single worker greets you with a happy Tahitian hello! They'll help you arrange anything at the front and make sure you're happy. Splurge for the Overwater bungalow... It's sooooooo worth it. The snorkeling here was the best we've ever had (and blew bora bora out of the water). Right under the bungalows are hundreds of fish....

We came to Papeete for a couple of days before heading to Moorea Island to take a tour. This Hilton is perfectly located. Around 7 min drive from the airport and 8 min away grom downtown Papeete and the ferry. It is located next to a shopping mall and connected through a bridge. You have dining options supermarket and a few other stores. Staff is extremely nice and with an outstanding customer service that goes above and beyond. For our next trip we will definitwly stay here again....

Great location and friendly staff!

We really liked this resort. The rooms are very big, modern, and clean. The view is breathtaking, the staff are very nice and helpful. We liked the food at the restaurant too, they also have Polynesian dancing on Thursdays and Saturday nights which we enjoyed. This resort is quiet, and the pool was not crowded which I really liked. We stayed at another resort on our way back going home later in our trip and it was the same price as this place but not as nice at all. I definitely recommend this...

I arrived past the check in time and the staff was wonderful about arranging and after hours check in. I received an upgrade to an amazing bungalow with a private yard, outdoor shower and lounge area that was right on the beach but any of the bungalows on property would have been amazing. The property was right on a beautiful lagoon filled with coral, fish, rays and a few small sharks. The restaurant is facing the water and is really cute and the food is great. Only a short walk away is the Moorea Hilton which has the best crepes. Kayaks and paddle boards were included in the nightly fee which was really nice.

I don’t know what we would have done if the shuttle hadn’t dropped us off at the house and we talked to someone. The lodge and where we were staying was across the street and there is nobody in the house were we were told we were staying. It was a bit odd. The room itself was fine and there is no complaints. We also had access to the water front across the street, but we didn’t stay at the waterfront house as I thought we booked.

We used this as a place to stay before out late flight out of Tahiti. It worked perfectly. We had a nice bed to rest on, a safe place to store our things while we explored, and a good bathroom to clean up in before our flight. I would certainly book here again for this same purpose.

Everyone is excellent

ve private decks where you can sunbathe or enjoy a meal. We enjoyed swimming in the blue waters of the lagoon off our deck. Truly remarkable resort and staff.

Vahine is a little slice of heaven on Earth. I do not often write reviews, but Vahine Island and more importantly the people are the best in World. It was the most enjoyable experience I had in a very long time. It is hard to imagine a better place.

We stayed for 11 days and truly enjoyed the entire experience. The staff were amazing, friendly, knew our names and our favorite drinks every time we walked to the bars/restaurants. Check-in was easy and friendly. We were in Bungalow 9 which was amazing - we couldn't see any other huts from our bungalow or our deck.
