The hotel is right in the center of a very quiet town. Great walks around the town and along the Rhine, and the bus passes right in front to take you to Koblenz or to other towns along the river. The the breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant were very good and the owners most accommodating. A lovely find.
We arrived from a river cruise on the Rhine. The $10 taxi brought us right to the hotel. The check in was easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was new and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding. We walked to the train station, just across the street, for our day's adventure at Burg Eltz. We returned to Koblenz for a good dinner at one of the restaurants near the hotel. The location was perfect, the accommodations were first rate, and the price was reasonable.
By far the best hotel I have been in for the past two weeks. Every staff member is friendly and helpful, the rooms are great, spacious, and clean. The breakfast was great and the beer garden was amazing as well. Great parking underneath the hotel for free. I can't say enough good things about my stay.
Lovely accommodations adjacent to an historic castle. I stayed in a single room on the 4th floor (a.k.a. "attic space") which was perfect for a solo traveler. This compact room offered excellent views of the Rhine River too. One thing about the 4th floor though, you will have to walk up from the 3rd floor as there is no elevator service to the 4th floor.
