This place is away from any town to relax, but there are taximotos, busses, and taxis that visitors can take just out side of the Jaal Kab cabañas and they drop you off there too."

Not only safe and quiet but kid and dog friendly as well. If you’re not a guest there, you should be. I’m booking another night then going to the beach; which I haven’t seen yet.
They treat every guest as VIP. Let loose relax at this gem I promise it’s worth it. World class seafood right across the street.

Great shape for a colonial style building. It sais 1925 on the entrance so maybe thats Victorian era. Very friendly and attentive staff that speak good English. High ceilings which we loved. 5 minute walk to the malecon. Quiet and private pool area. Will be stayin here again.
The hotel was just great and the staff was so lovely and helpful and kind. The pool was fantastic and beds super comfortable. It’s a little out of town so you need a car and I would bring what you need with you from Merida but it was just perfect for our week on the beach.
Not a fancy hotel but the room was immaculate and well equipped. Cannot beat the location. Right on the male on. Most rooms (ones with balconies) have an ocean view. Courteous and efficient staff. Will definitely recommend and return next time I visit Progreso.
I picked this hotel since it was located close to my family's house. I am so glad I did because this hotel put a ton of American hotels to shame with how clean, quiet, easily located from the street and nice it was. The price was also very reasonable for how large the room was. The security was also very good at this hotel when my dad was trying to come up to our room to pick us up they made him wait until they called my room to verify who he was. Free breakfast was available but I did not eat....
