Charming beautifully decorated cottages. We enjoyed fire place, deck, library, and pottery workshop. There is a delicious healthy breakfast served in the cafe every morning. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful. We hiked to a nearby village. We will definitely come back.
I booked this hotel because we were looking for something affordable, quiet and near things we wanted to see and visit. This was the best surprise of our vacation. Cute little tucked away bed and breakfast. The staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. We were about 10 minutes out from the city so we couldn’t hear the night life but we’re still close enough to uber in to see all the sites. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located in historical palace which definitely adds a lot to its charm. The hotel lobby, corridors, restaurant and other areas look like a royal palace and it feels like you are living in the museum, but with ability to touch and use the items. The room is very spacious and comfortable and the hotel part is very beautiful and pleasant to walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also located quite conveniently within 10-15 mins walk to Coimbra city center.
We had good directions, a clean, well appointed room, and a wonderful, welcoming morning breakfast. Sonia is a wonderful host and I would recommend this quite spot to all. The room had good air conditioning.
