Everything was great, but at checkout time, I was accused of drinking the four sodas that were in the refrigerator! Never used anything provided by the hotel in the mini-bar. I don't think that they believed me. I don't like being accused of something I didn't do.
An absolutely perfect place for a stay in the Amsterdam area, just a few minutes walk to the train station (15-20min ride to Ams Centraal). It’s also perfect for Haarlem, about 5min walk to the city center and the main square with St Bavo’s Church. A laundromat is on the parallel street. The staff are wonderful and the spacious rooms have a unique and glam feel. Extra plugs conveniently placed around the room. This was our best hotel of the trip. Very clean and the amenities were great.
We enjoyed the afternoon outside at the restaurant and had a great dinner and good drinks.
Everything was perfect. Property is beautiful and staffs are kind. I enjoyed fitness and sauna too. The only drawback is checkout time at 11am is a bit too early. Hope it is 12pm.
Great hotel; it may be old but it wears its age well. (Old in this case doesn't mean dirty or frayed at the edges). Quiet room, very soft comfortable bed. Food in the restaurant, especially dinner was very good with very good steaks available; breakfast was adequate as a little more variety would be nice. Very friendly and attentive staff in the hotel, always a sincerely warm greeting when I passed by the front desk.
We would like to appreciate the excellent service we received at front desk since our flight from Ireland was early and our rooms were not ready yet. The front desk expeditiously attempted to have the rooms ready as soon as possible, and they did! The rooms were clean and huge. And the buffet selections were impressive. The free shuttle service to the airport was a plus. We will surely use this hotel once we come back to Amsterdam again!
Great Hotel, The only thing I didn’t like was the 90 euros I was charge for the city taxes, the hotel must let the guest know about that ahead of time.

Felt very safe as a solo traveler. The room was small but laid out nice that it didn’t feel too bad. The staff was great as well as location to the metro. Will definitely stay here again in the future
