This hotel was in a perfect spot for exploring Wellington on foot. Easy walk to the Te Papa museum, cable car and Parliament. Located on bustling Cuba Street, we had several great meals very close to the hotel. Room was spacious and had everything we needed. All in all, a great place to stay at a reasonable price.
Close to city without the pricetag. Friendly helpful staff, easy check-in and happy to oblige with extra towels and tea bags. Units older but very clean and tidy. Linen clean and fresh. What sets this hotel apart is the attention you get from the staff. When we checked in we were treated like VIPs, not in a gushy, fawning way but as if there was nothing more important at that moment than explaining things to us and trying to get us a dinner reservation. The room was immaculate and the bed was the most comfortable on our trip.
