The Coach House Suffolk

Lowestoft

10/10 Exceptional

Just back from a great three day stay. The staff were wonderful (special shout out to Mike who couldn't do enough for us and the lovely ladies in the bar/restaurant) We stayed in one of the coach house rooms with our dog and the whole hotel is very dog friendly (including the breakfast sausage served every morning) Lovely new facilities with great bathrooms and showers. We really enjoyed the food here too (a bit let down by the Sunday roast we've seen so many excellent reviews on, so must have...

The Stables

Beccles

10/10 Exceptional

The Stables is a fantastic place to lay your head for the evening! My wife & I booked "the Blythburgh" room which was perfect for us travelling with our 15 year old. The rooms are very quaint, highly beamed & very quiet. In the evening their is an honour bar in the lounge with local beers & chilled wine & you can even sit out on the lawns, Breakfast is traditional Full English in the dining room & was excellent. Plenty to do in the area with Dunwich & Aldeburg close by.

Eastwood Lodge

Walberswick

8/10 Very good

It is not a hotel. It is a farmhouse converted into self-contained units, each with own bathroom. Rooms have fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery. Linen and towels are provided but no food option - bring your own. A very good idea for a buget option in an expensive area. Plenty of parking and area for children and dogs to play outside. Surrounding area is beautiful with paths across the common to Walberswick and Southwold.

The Clyffe Hotel

Lowestoft

10/10 Exceptional

As a frequent traveler to the UK, I found my stay at The Clyffe Hotel in Lowestoft to be a real pleasure. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the experience feel personal. Parking was stress-free, with plenty of street options nearby. I was fortunate to park directly in front of the hotel throughout my stay. Breakfast was another highlight, freshly prepared and more like a home-cooked meal than the usual hotel buffet. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well...
