Andre at reception started us off with great hospitality and friendliness and had suggestions for several activities. The room was superb as was the hot springs pool. The hotel had the nicest indoor pool I've seen anywhere. The whole experience was very memorable
The Lince Nordeste is the perfect place to stay in tranquil Nordeste. The staff are professional, friendly, helpful, kind, and able to communicate in multiple languages. The rooms are spacious, and clean. Rooms with ocean views have an amazing view of the town and ocean, which is lovely day and night. Breakfast is plentiful, fresh, and very tasty. this was a tremendous vacation, everything in the hotel is suited to pamper the guests. Service is impeccable, anyone you encounter whether its the chef, the waiters, front desk, spa and even the manager will smile and look for ways to be helpful. the rooms are comfortable and well equipped , the showers are small but nice especially the rainforest head. the hotel's restaurant is the best one we experienced in the islands, the spa and thermal pools are really great after a day of travelling
Excellent experience, overall. The hotel is gorgeous and the ocean views are unbeatable. The property is very well taken care of and the staff were awesome—very friendly and accommodating. Ribeira Grande is a bit remote from Central Ponta Delgada, but everything is far away around the island anyway. A rental car is a must in São Miguel and having a car will make your experience more enjoyable all around.
