The hotel is modern and in a great location. Nice owner and free bicycles. Great for travelling around the area and we even went to Switzerland from there. Absolutely incredible! We upgraded to a lake view and were blown away. Villa Lario is a one of a kind gem that we were so lucky to find. Everything was completely luxurious and the service was incredible.
We wish we could have stayed longer as we were only there for a night. We took a 25 minute cab ride to dinner in Varenna where my boyfriend proposed! We later returned to the villa and enjoyed calling family and friends from our suite and terrace.

Charming Bellagio boutique hotel is so well named! We loved everything about our stay. Just a 10 minute walk from the town center, it was tranquil. The rooms were clean and modern. We had beautiful views of the lake and hillside during the delicious breakfast. Nice to be able to wash and dry clothes (6 euros each for washer and dryer.) The staff was so helpful and kind.
