"I reserved and paid for my stay through Hotels.com yet received an additional checkout bill for taxes. This was not disclosed to me at checkin and I do not have an explanation for the additional charges. Other than that, the facilities and stay were fine. The 24/7 airport shuttle is a valuable amenity."

"Hotel is outdated and gross. Even my 10-year-old said she could tell by looking at the building that it was gross. We walked into our room and was blasted with chemical smells and the window was open. 3 of the 4 of us had headaches by the time we left to go eat. At dinner we decided to get a different hotel. We went back to get our stuff, and the room was still pungent. The carpet was worn and gross. The walls looked like they had years of condensation lines. The overall atmosphere was not good. I suggest paying the higher price and stay somewhere that is much better. When we checked out, we told the employee that we had just checked in a few hours ago and would not be staying. He didn't ask us any questions, just took the key card back. Not impressed."

"If you need to stay near Detroit Metro, there is LITERALLY nowhere better than here! You will not be disappointed. Big rooms, clean, food was excellent in the morning, shuttle we did not use, but noticed how they were friendly and on time. You cannot ask for more. It is slightly pricier - but you get what you pay for. It is in a safe location and getting to the airport is a breeze!"

"The room was neat, clean, and comfortable, although a bit small. The only downside was the breakfast selection, which was very limited, with only fruit and coffee available. Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but more breakfast options would improve the experience."

"Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, there was no A/C, and the elevators seemed unstable. I mentioned my concerns to staff and was told they had been fixed. Just a couple of hours later, my children and I got stuck in the elevator for 45 minutes and had to be rescued by the fire department. It was a scary experience, especially with kids. I hope management addresses these safety concerns, but based on our experience, I would not never take my family here again."

"Overall great hotel. Close to the airport , plenty of food options in the area. The room was really clean. However I’m pretty sure there were pee stains on the sheets and towels. Which kind of kept me up at night. Other than that no complaints"
