We stayed for several nights at the Ambassador Boutique Hotel and the hotel is excellent. It is in a great central location in Nyon within easy walking distance of everything. The breakfast every morning outside on the beautiful terrace was delicious with plenty of choice. The staff is superb, very attentive and friendly, they all make you feel very welcome and treat you like you are their favorite guest. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and plan to stay here again in the near future.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. From the train station, it is a bit of a walk uphill. We had been traveling by train and decided to take a taxi to the hotel. Walking back to the train station was easy, as it was all downhill. Everything is very modern and renovated. I loved our modern bathroom and shower. The bed was very comfortable. A portable air conditioner was also provided. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was included and it was as good as other hotel...

Definitely opt for a lake view room, it will not disappoint. We stayed for three nights in early September and would 100% recommend. Fantastic balcony, great bathroom and very quite and dark. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train, up/down hill, which was fine by us but worth taking into account. I'd recommend checking out domain bovy for a great wine tasting. There are only a few restaurants in Chexbres and they hold basic hours, but that's some of the charm of this small town.
