"Stayed at The Fern Kochi for one night before starting a 6-day trip through Kerala and it was a solid choice.
The property has a cool vibe and feels a bit different from your typical hotel, which I liked. Some parts are a little dated, but everything was clean and worked well, so it didn’t take away from the stay.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, which made things easy, especially for a quick stopover. Food was ok, nothing over the top but definitely reliable enough for breakfast. There's a better option for dinner around the corner.
One thing to keep in mind is that it’s a bit isolated and near the port area of the city..you’ll need a car to get around or into the main parts of Kochi. That said, it also makes it quieter and more relaxed.
Overall, a good, easy stay and a nice way to kick off a longer trip through Kerala."

"The culinary experience was exceptional, with Chef Jagatheesh demonstrating both remarkable expertise and a warm, engaging demeanor. The buffet staff were consistently attentive, ensuring a seamless dining experience, while the team in grey T-shirts were particularly proactive and courteous in assisting with my luggage.
The security personnel were approachable and informative, offering helpful insights into nearby locations. The airport transfer driver was equally commendable, providing efficient and supportive service, including assistance with my luggage.
At the front desk, Riya exemplified outstanding hospitality—consistently courteous, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring my comfort throughout the stay. Across the property, the staff maintained a welcoming attitude, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere.
This being my first stay at a Marriott property in Kerala—following previous experiences in Singapore—it fully met my expectations in terms of service quality and overall experience. The only minor concern was the automated blinds, which appeared to operate unpredictably at times, causing slight discomfort. Aside from this, the stay was thoroughly enjoyable."
