We were upgraded to a very nice 2 bedroom apt style accommodation and it was very nice for my friend and I to have own rooms to sleep. It was simply furnished but very comfortable. Breakfast was home-made, made to order for us, of local specialties and was delicious. The couple who owns the hotel was very attentive and friendly. Without a doubt, they get a “10” they made us feel like family and we loved every second. Food was excellent and service was fantastic. This is one place I plan to return without hesitation.
When someone says “feel at home”, this is what it should be. There wasn’t anything I lacked, and the hosts went out of their way to ensure everything was comfortable. Breakfast on a veranda with a view, the sounds of birds and sheep moving up into the hills in the morning, it was lovely. An excellent hidden gem, I plan to come back again for sure. Grazie!

Amazing place. A cozy 200 year old house kept in perfect state. Situated in a small village in the middle of the Sardinian highlands.

L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!
On our 10 days trip on Sardinia,this was definitely the best stay. Giuseppe and his wife Jessica were the best hosts. Nothing seemed to be a problem for them. Giuseppe also organized great dinner for us in restaurant which we would not find on our own.

We spent in this hotel 9 days and it was the best holiday ever. The hotel is very unique and the staff is so kind, especially Isabella and Sorin at the reception. The pool and the rooms are beautiful. The only problem was the breakfast, it was a bit poorly for us, because we not used to eat sweet food (cake, muffin) in the morning. But we will come back for sure!
