"This is a small boutique hotel on a narrow street. Well out of the normal noise and bustle of Kyoto, has a lot of Japanese influence, not a lot of amenities. They don't do laundry but have a good breakfast."

"I truly loved staying at this hotel. The Japanese culture thrived throughout the entrance, hallways, and in our room. One of my favorite things is that there is a washer and dryer! We absolutely loved the cookies that were in our room and recommend to buy some at the cookie factory down the road from the hotel. I would most definitely stay here again."

Nice touch with an array of guest amenities eg hairbrushes, tea bags, face creams etc & eatery…Great location too , across the road from the Kyoto national garden & walking distance to bus lines that will take you to a number of local temples & shrines.."
