"Beautiful room, we booked Timbre. Great quiet Air con which was appreciated. Lovely roof terrace. Hosts couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. Would stay again and highly recommend."

After Sahara tour and a day’s travel by taxi from Mezouga, we’re really exhausted. Walking through their modest front door, we found ourselves in a lavishly beautiful oasis. Our room is neat, styled with signature handcrafts of Fez. Hotel manager is a smart and very friendly lady who listened and tried to accommodate our needs. We spent a day in old Médina with tour guide Abdullah recommended by hotel. He led us swimming through this charming maze and ended up appreciating the wisdom and...
Dar D'or is the perfect place to stay in Fes! The location is excellent, not in the Medina where you get lost, but right next to it with clear signs that lead you to the door, and very close to the Blue Gate. The room was exactly as pictured, breakfast was excellent, the rooftop perfect for sunset. The thing that sets it apart are the hosts who will make you feel so welcomed, and help with anything you need- they made me tea for sunset on the roof, printed our boarding tickets for our flight,...
The room service takes long time to deliver our orders .over all we had a good time there. The stuff of the reception were very kind and helpful. The rooms clean but we had to ask them to clean it every time.
This property was top notch! I wish everyplace met the standards as this hotel offers. There are three restaurants inside the hotel. One French, one Moroccan and the last Lebanese on the rooftop where there also exist a stunning bar. Plus they had a DJ. The latter was more tapas plates. The food was so good. Our drinks were tasty. We had our laundry serviced while here. It was a bit pricy so discuss cost first if you don’t want any surprises. Our room was large, clean, bed amazing, the bathroom...
We had a beautiful stay at Riad Mabrouka. Our room was wonderful, the Hamman treatment was great, breakfasts were top notch and the dinner we had on our first night was memorable. The location was very near the parking area which was great for being dropped off by our driver. It was an easy 5 minute walk in the Medina to the Riad from the parking area that was well lit, clean and easy to navigate. The view from the top floor over Fes was amazing. I also have to complement the staff, they were...
Riad Alasalla has a great location steps away from the Medina. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any concerns. Breakfasts are a great way to start the day on the right foot. The Riad has a beautiful vista on the terrace and lots of nice design features on the inside. We valued our time here we would recommend
Jaw dropping is what happened when we entered this Ryad. We were met with amazing hospitality and very warm, caring staff. The garden area of the Ryad was incredible - tile work, carvings, fountain and orange trees transported us from the hustle and bustle of the town to the quiet and relaxing space in the Ryad. Although we didn't take advantage, there is a spa and the Ryad serves dinner too. Each morning, we ate like kings - lots of fruit, eggs, breads, tea and coffee. On the morning we had to...
The owners of the Riad told me that they try to hire people who have a good heart rather than people with experience because you can teach service but not heart. They have succeeded beyond their expectations. Ghizlane & Youssef, and the rest of the staff, provided the best service that we’ve ever had at any hotel and they made us feel like family, not customers. I can’t recommend them any higher. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.
My 4-days stay was amazing. The proprietor was in town from Paris and spent the afternoon and evening giving me a personal walking tour of the old city. This is a very beautiful traditional 'Riad' with great staff and wonderful hospitality.
We enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, the AC was not the greatest, and we found sleeping hard due to the heat. The staff were great at lending us their own fan so that we had some air flow to sleep. They were also very accommodating and very helpful.
We spent 4 nights at Yasmine and Alex's guesthouse in Fez and we are already planning a return. They restored it 8 years ago and have impeccable taste. We ate dinner there on our last night and wish we would have had more meals at the Riad. Fatima is the chef and can give you a free cooking class if you would like. Yasmine and Alex are always around to give you recommendations and couldn't be more helpful. They can arrange tours, hammams and Alex will even give you tips on haggling. She is from...
