A lot of thunderstorms when I was there, so it was nice having a comfortable, relaxed hotel to wait out the rains. Only five or six blocks from the artisanal market, if you're looking for nice traditional crafts and gifts."

"So much wood and a very ample space. Clean and the staff aiming to please. I'd rather stay here than in an expensive hotel - much more room, kitchen, living room, multiple bedrooms with balcony. It is at the edge of the Historic city so choose your route home wisely after 8pm. The place looks like the pictures posted. So charming. Loved our stay."

"This has to be my favorite hotel in Quito! The location is centered only a few blocks from La Plaza Grande and accessible to everything! The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable! The breakfast that comes with the rate was top notch for a continental breakfast! I was in a beautiful room with a balcony that looked out to the Cathedral and the surrounding streets. The hotel is safe and the staff will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. This will be my hotel of choice every time...
