"Hotel is in a great location near the center of the small town. When we checked in no one was around to greet us so we had to walk down to the kichen area to find someone The room was very small but nicely decorated. TV had no English channels available - BBC did not work. Bathroom was poor w a shower curtain that let water come out. No lotion and cheap shower gel. Just a few euros would make it special Breakfast is Spanish w toast but no pastries but a lot of cakes available. Fruit ran out and was not refilled. Fine breakfast but nothing special "

You experience the sense of calm created by the beautiful landscape and the architecture of the hotel. The staff are excellent and the service is 5-star. The restaurant creates the perfect ambiance for dining and the food is creative and beautifully prepared and presented. Would like to thank Andreia, Marta, Bruma and Sofia for making our stay a memorable one. Would also like to thank the chef and his staff for our wonderful dining experiences. "We stayed at the Sao Lourenco do Barrocal in November and it was the highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived we were met with incredible concierge service to help plan our weekend and show us our incredible suite. We did a winemaking tour and class along with an olive oil making and class as well as Pilates and all three were great! I am blanking on the instructor names but each were incredibly knowledgeable and we felt spoiled each leg. The food in the restaurant was also incredible. The dinner was great, but the breakfast was equally as impressive. 10/10 would recccomend! "
