Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and staff service was very good. Location may at first feel far from Gotenborg central however it’s actually only a short 10 mins tram ride and you can use the free ferry to cross over to an upscale area that has lots of restaurants with 10 mins. Definitely recommend Clarion Pier Hotel!"

"The room was really clean and comfortable for a short stay, a shame there’s no kettle but wasn’t at all detrimental to the stay. The surrounding area is currently under construction so you do have to cross several crossings to make it but it’s signposted well. It’s a short walk (probably around or less than 10 mins) to the bus station and shopping centre. Would stay again"

"The hotel itself is lovely and I had a very spacious room. However, the entranceway leaves a lot to be desired. There is no signage from the tram stop, and walking on a gravel path with luggage is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. The reception staff were polite but couldn't say when it would be fixed. Good potential, but needs urgent adjustments."
