"This hotel was incredible. The room was a comfortable size, beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were so comfy. They decorated it in rose petals and balloons for my birthday as a driving surprise ( after my partner asked them) The outside of the building was so intricately decorated in carved sandstone. The pool was refreshing and a most welcome pleasure. Views of the huge fort looming above, while we are in the restaurant, were like something from a movie. The boys in the upstairs...

"Great stay at Gulaab Haveli. Mr. Kapil, the owner takes a personal interest in the comfort of the guests. The rooms are clean, attractive and have all the needed conveniences. The vegetarian breakfast is excellent. The staff are helpful and efficient. The location is perfect for visiting the fort or the town outside the fort, and the architecturally beautiful hotel itself sits magnificently in the middle of chaotic streets and traffic - I like the small town chaos, so the location was a bonus...

"I had checked late in night and it was very hard to wake them up for check-in. Neither their was any bell to ring nor contact number were picked. After knocking door several time they opened the door and i was checked in"

"Staff is very average and not the warm kinds (which is very unusual in hospitality industry). The staff was evidently pushing tasks from one department to another. Seemed like they want to make money on every given instance- baby food was also chargeable, which is not chargeable at every Hotel, wherever we have stayed earlier. Food is very basic."

"We traveled as a family and occupied two rooms. The best thing about this hotel was its proximity to the tourist attractions. But the rooms were not specially clean (the bathrooms had a smell), when went to the reception desk the next morning someone was sleeping in front of it in a makeshift mattress, the food was greasy and of poor quality, and the dining room was open and exposed to the cold weather of the desert night."

"This place should not be used as a hotel also considering the price it’s not worth it. The lobby and common areas smell of urine. The doors to the rooms are light which means it’s very noisy in the rooms until late night. The place is not clean, we had only boiling hot water in the shower and overall it’s just disgusting and overpriced. I cannot believe hotels.com has this property on their site. "
