Our stay at Spatia Comporta was wonderful, largely thanks to the incredible staff. From before arrival, they shared property amenities and activity suggestions, and once we arrived, they took care of everything from arranging car services, handling in-room needs, and even picking up items at the convenience store in town. This place is a true gem. Very quiet, yet close enough to the sights in Milfontes. Don’t be fooled by its low key appearance from the street. The true goodness is on the inside. Gardens are pleasant and a true joy to relax in. Room was spacious and well decorated; very cozy.
We only used this hotel to stay overnight while traveling from The Algarve to Lisbon. But it was more than adequate for that. The rooms were a little dated but very clean and well maintained. The building is located within easy walking distance of the town, restaurants, and the beach. Porto Covo is a nice small town, and parking was easy. The staff was very nice and spoke English, which we appreciated. Facility was quiet but be advised their is no front desk help from midnight to 8:00. Overall,...

the location is so beautiful. tons of greenery, flowers, animals - heaven! on the road leading up to the hotel, you can see the water as well. peaceful, calm, perfect.

What a great place! Do not miss the huge library of the doctor who bought it from the original family and spend some time wandering around. The concierge is the most amazing person, full of joy and love for life, very helpful and willing to share her love for Sines and Portugal. Make sure you eat at at the Restaurante Cais Da Estação.

This was a magical experience! Know you are staying on a farm so it is not about squeaky cleanliness. The room was basic with 3 beds in one room and a couch but it was all we needed to enjoy this unique property with peacock males dancing and showing their plumage and the mothers exhibiting their babies.
