What a wonderful place! This chateau has been lovingly restored back to its former glory by the current owners with modern elements and artwork incorporated. We had one of the largest rooms in the house and could only marvel at the details the owners had thought of in the restoration. The room was extremely comfortable lacking nothing. Breakfast was scrumptious and we had the opportunity to meet other guests. The owners were extremely attentive and helpful in every way. There was an option to...

It belonged to Pierre Laclède, founder of Saint Louis (Missouri). It has remained in the family ever since.

The village of Bedous is charming and there are at least three quite decent restaurants.
We had a wonderful experience here. The hostess was very charming and made us feel as if this were our home. She gave us great recommendations for hikes and restaurants. We had unforgettable breakfasts in the garden with the sweet dog. Our children played in the large garden with the Pyrenees in the background as we enjoyed a moment of leisure. Our room was beautiful and it was a pleasure to be there. We can't wait to return!
Hotel had nice upgrades to common space w/ indoor pool/spa and sauna. Breakfast area was nice, but we didn't have breakfast any of the mornings. Rooms are tiny, but apparently standard for France.
Hotel is in a weird industrial area, but quiet. Eery at night, but seemingly safe and totally fine. Sleepy town.
Excellent for a overnight stay in between journey to other areas. Need to get the wi-fi for guests, even if offering for a fee! Great to have the cafe and bar and all the French magazines readily available.
