We just returned from a week at Jashita and couldn't recommend the hotel more. It's truly a special place perched at the end of Solomon Bay, just a short jaunt away from the great restaurants, hotels, and nightlife of the Tulum puebla and beach. But most importantly, with all that Jashita has to offer, why leave?

This property was not only beautiful but extremely convenient for a location. Close enough to the beach and the city, a perfect medium. Bike to the ruins or into the city. Taxi to the beach and they are all easily accessible. The gym and rooftop are beautiful and peaceful. The private pool I had was so nice I can’t wait to come back. They even provide bikes for you to use it’s perfect.
Small property organized and well kept. Nice balcony over looking pool, decent restaurants the chicken dinner was bomb. My only complaint is the spa prices are very high and I’m speaking as a massage therapist. But it’s what hotel spas charge. Great stay overall close to everything.
Property is very nice and opened late January, the staff was very kind and helpful. Only downfall is it’s in the middle of nowhere and there’s nothing around but construction being done.
This was our first trip to Tulum, so we were relatively unfamiliar with the town’s zones.
Copal Tulum is located on the north side of Aldea Zama, a massive new, upscale development between the village and the ocean. The area around this hotel is mostly built-out. The Copal location was convenient for a daytime walk or a M$200 nighttime taxi ride to the town center. It is also quick bike ride/taxi to the ocean.

Very glad we picked this hotel! It has a great location at the edge of the city of Tulum. All around you are shops, restaurants, bars, and if you want to go to the beach it's a short bike ride away. Hotel felt super safe with an awesome rooftop pool to getaway from all of the hustle and bustle of the beach for a day. Pool has awesome service with tasty snacks. I lo ed staying here. It was my first time in tulum and wasnt sure what to expect. The hotel is an easy walk to several restaurants and 7-11. The property was clean with a cute little balcony, where we sat in the early mornings. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and cieling fan. We actually got cold at night. The hosts were gracious. Rented us a scooter. Gave us recommendations and helped arrange taxis and car services whenever we needed. The pool area is nice and relaxing but...
This was the perfect honeymoon getaway. Remote enough to avoid the large crowds in Tulum Beach but close enough to outstanding restaurants, cenotes, and the ruins. The hotels staff was excellent and friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was the finest I ever had.
Quite possibly the most beautiful and relaxing stay I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay that is reflective of the natural beauty and environment of Tulum and not the all-inclusive resort side. Playa Esperanza is the perfect place to unwind, it’s super ideal for a couples getaway or honeymoon. All the staff is super nice and helpful. The only downside for me, it’s that not all of their rooms have AC, they’re an eco friendly hotel and there is no fridge, iron or hair dryer, and they shut the power for a couple of hours as they are running on generators. But I love that they care about the environment!
