After reading reviews of Aguas Calientes in general, I was leery of the accommodations available. This was so inaccurate! The town is much better than what I read, and this hotel was the best one yet! (Better than Cuzco, Lima, and Ollantaytambo) The bed was bigger than my king at home. That alone made me smile when I walked in. I highly recommend this hotel. We stayed for three nights and loved it. It actually felt like a vacation.

I highly recommend this hotel. I would stay here again. We were here for Machu Picchu. Excellent stay. Had a room on the 4th floor over the river. The river is kind of loud, but great windows so it seemed more like a "white noise" in the background which was quite nice actually. Despite its proximity to the station, we could not hear any train at all from our side. There is a train that passes literally 5 feet in front of the hotel so get the river side if possible.
