My sister and I traveled to Joberg to visit a friend who had stayed here on a visit and has since moved to this lovely location of the world.
The security at this property is top notch. Every vehicle entering the gate is scanned and intent is verified. The reception at our arrival was so genuinely warm and professional. Busisiwe and Foreman made us feel welcome and special. Our room was especially clean and spacious. Paying the small fee for breakfast was a win! It was not your continental...
I will highly recommend The Capital on the Park. I have been staying at the hotel since August of 2023 . I never had any problems or complaints. The food is always great the ambiance is great. Definitely a winner!!

Very well located, close to the Gautrain and Sandton City. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable and very private. Wifi was excellent. The breakfasts were very good. I am fussy about my eggs, and they arrived cooked to perfection every time.
The Hyde Park Villas are located in a safe and tranquil neighbourhood. Shops such as the Hyde Park Corner are a short walk away and Rosebank Mall is a bus stop away. The place itself is neat,rooms are clean with well tended gardens outside. The host is on hand to cook a home-made sumptuous breakfast. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the place. It offers a luxury stay at a great price.
The staff are impeccable and attentive from the front desk to cleaning staff. The food there is good as well. There's no pork (it's Halal) which also means no bar or alcohol, this can be remedied by going to buy your own or getting an Uber drop off. My one complaint is the bathroom sink...it's so narrow that you get water everywhere when you turn it on. If you're coming from America bring wash cloths, they're not a thing in South Africa.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful and the hotel is closed to Gutrain station and Sandton city mall.

Lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood in Johannesburg. Staff was lovely and the roof top bar was the perfect place to unwind after a day of touring. Would definitely stay again!
Perfection. Staff, spa, room, shower (one of the best showers in the world), bed, the setting, food! It does not get much better than the Saxon. Worth every penny.
