It is a very nice place to stay- very comfortable room, and friendly, helpful staff. There is lots of activities in Shanghai, and this hotel is not far from them, with subway station 1 minute away.

Best location and the service !

Very conveniently located with easy access to transportation and quick trip to many attractions. Great shops within walking distance. Clean and air conditioned.

Location, slacial room, clean

Staff was pleasant and had a device to assist with translation. Out of the 9 hotels I stayed at during my trip, this was the first one. They were also helpful with our luggage! Free shuttle to and from Disneyland and the airport were great. They have a great structure and communication for these scheduled leaves. Breakfast was included. Excellent location. They offered an upgrade for only 30usd extra and I got a gorgeous suite with a terrace and view of the skyline. I wish I could have stayed longer

Excellent location

Room was clean and big enough for myself. Staff was friendly and helpful. Price was pretty good comparing to other similar hotels in the area. My room got clear glass for the shower but you could pull out the panel next to the sink to separate between the bed and sink/shower area. Will stay here again.

The building / room is as you would expect from a 5 star hotel. What really sets it apart is the incredible staff and remarkable breakfast. Worth every penny and the perfect place to stay if you would like to treat yourself in Shanghai.

It was a great hotel near the Chabad house and great accommodation for shabbos allowing you the comfort of leaving and coming when needed.

The Grand Hyatt Shanghai is a wonderful hotel located inside the Jim Mao tower, one of the most iconic buildings of the city. The staff is very nice and our room was on the 78th floor so the view was just fantastic. We could see the pearl tower and the Shanghai Tower just in front of us...at night we could see the beautiful lights of the city that would light up the flowing Huangpu river. Looks like a newly built hotel. This hotel is located about 15-20 minutes by driving from/to PVG without traffic (with traffic probably about 30 min, the web information says it is about 5-6 km, i.e. 3-3.8 miles away from PVG), away from busy streets or other hotels. Actually there was no other hotels as far as I could see. I did not see any restaurants near by in walking distance probably because of its location, but the hotel had a restaurant. Always stay here when in Shanghai. Hotel is very cool decor, service excellent. View from executive suite panoramic of both sides of the Bung. Great breakfast. Room is very comfortable, terrific WiFi, great breakfast. Stayed here every year for the past 7, wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Good location with lot of access to nearby malls, eateries, restaurants but yet not overly crowded area. New modern hotel.

Stayed there for five days on business, cant say anything else but a great hotel to stay in.
