"Everything was great, but the room, évent it was charming, has a lot of beams and attics (slopes in the ceiling) so we had to be careful not to Hurt ourselves. The staff at the hotel were outstanding, I was having some issues with my phone and couldn’t call them. They still came to meet at the meeting point and got my luggage to my room without me. I loved the story of my room and how each thing was explained.

This part of Šiška is charming and serene. I would choose Family Guesthouse over any hostel or hotel in the city center. You get a view of suburban life here that those other locations can’t offer. The Kino Šiška bus stop and Mercator are close.

This was a wonderful place to stay! It was about a 40-minute walk to the city center, but there is a bus stop right outside and it was very quick to go downtown that way if you don't have a car. There are hiking paths in the huge park nearby and an excellent restaurant across the street serving Slovenian cuisine. You can walk to a grocery store in 8 minutes and a laundromat in 12 (and the hotel also offers laundry services).

The apartment was a fantastic accommodation in a quiet residential area, yet not far from the city center. Every area was nicely decorated and everting needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The host was always helpful when we had questions. Check in and check out were easy. My only recommendation would be to include the city tax in the reservation. Yes, it may seem like you are out in the boonies but actually you are only 20 minutes or less from town using the bus which is right across from the hotel. We spent our first night in Slovenia here arriving quite late. Eurie at the reception desk was very kind, friendly and welcomed us warmly. The room we had was spacious and clean. In the morning, a delicious breakfast was served in the dining room. Eurie was at the desk in the morning and provided very helpful tips about where to visit in Kranj as well as how to get to our next destination.
