Rixos hotel exceeded my expectations by a mile. The staff were very helpful especially Mariam Magdy. I will definitely stay there again.

The way to get there seems very complicated to taxi drivers/uber. The GPS system doesn’t seem to work well in that area; plus, there is some road construction going on there.

I don’t like the breakfast items

It was an excellent hotel, inside the palace and adjacent to the Mediterranean sea. The hotel staff were friendly and the area is convenient. The hotel itself has a sushi place, Chinese food, Texas BBQ, and a McDonald's 1 minute walk away. You can take a public transportation for less than 3 Egyptian Pounds from the hotel to the happenings of Alexandria. The hotel is inside a huge palace garden and you can spend 2 hours exploring the area, walk along the beach with many cafes and restaurants...

Great first impression. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Excellent location with exceptional view on the sea specially for sea view rooms. Breakfast was great. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for another visit soon.

Housekeeping was exceptional and generously replenished all toiletries and bottle water every day. The bed was extremely comfortable and the air conditioning was powerful. Very beautiful hotel.

This historic hotel has been perfectly restored and is centrally located. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have never had a better breakfast anywhere I have stayed including many hotels in USA. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone, particularly those with a nostalgic inclination.
