"The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The breakfast was served with fresh fruit and juice as well other options were available. The property and rooms were immaculate, any request was attended to immediately. We extended our stay as we were so pleased. They take customer service to the next level, great job 🙌"
"The rooms were fine for the long layover at the airport. Reasonable prices. The staff was excellent. It is also only 8 minutes from the airport and they pick you up with a sign."
"Beautiful hotel and the staff were extremely helpful. They communicated with me a lot beforehand to help with checking in and my transfer from the Quito airport."
"Very nice hotel in a great location in Quito. The room was large and clean, the beds were very comfortable. The staff was polite and the breakfast was also good. I would stay here again."

LOVED OUR STAY HERE!
Very clean, neat, & the staff was absolutely fantastic!! Food was great! Oh the saunas were so so so relaxing.
The only reason I checked off the area outside of the property being unsafe is that Ecuador was under marshall law so we did not feel safe outside the hotel. BUT WE FELT TOTALLY SAFE & COMFORTABLE INSIDE!!!
Did I mention how friendly the staff were!!!!!
Cannot wait to came back!
the place is a piece of paradise. Even though it is a little ways off, it is worth it.
If you like nature and luxury at the same time, this is the place to be. Make sure to ask the staff to turn on the fireplace.
Beautiful interesting place to stay. Felt very welcomed. Lovely comfortable large room. Enjoyed the hot tub, the views, the fascinating tour of its history and builders. Delicious food served graciously. As they say, the road is very rough getting there but it was no problem for our driver. Hiked around the area and sat by the huge fireplace. We loved it!!
I somehow thought this would be closer to the airport, but it was about a 30 minute drive. Nevertheless, Llalo was very clean, safe, professionally operated and the breakfast on the porch was ideal. The rates were appropriate for the lodging. I highly recommend it.
Beautiful authentic boutique hotel. I had to stay one night on my way to Galapagos and did not want to stay at one of those chain modern places. This hotel is very charming, with hammocks outside and place to walk safely on the property. Bonus airport transfer included. Onsite restaurant open till 10PM with great food.
Stayed one night for a layover in Quito. Very close to the airport, simple amenities but enough for one night. They offered free shuttle service to the airport, I just gave the driver a tip. Would recommend for airport layovers.
Driving up to the place you get a little nervous because its in a really random spot but inside is very clean and newly renovated. They were very helpful with transportation to and from the airport and the breakfast was also quite good (eggs, bread with cheese, fruit, coffee and juice). For the price and how close to the airport I'd stay again.
We had a wonderful experience in Quito. We were told to watch for pick pockets and shady taxis. Just make sure you get into a yellow taxi with the green rectangular government issued sign on the side. I even left my wallet in a taxi one night and the driver came back and honked his horn until we heard him and went back to get the wallet. Hotel owner said we were lucky to get it back. Taxi driver did take ten bucks out of my wallet but I didn't feel bad about that. I figured he thought he...
The hotel makes a nice stay over when transiting via Quito to the Galapagos or other destination in Ecuador. Staff and service were great, very welcoming and helpful. We ate dinner in the Botanica Restaurant and found the service and quality excellent (try the Tempura Shrimp entree). The heated book was very welcome and while we did not have time to use it, the fitness center was large with a great selection of modern equipment.
The Executive Lounge was nice with a protected outdoor sitting...
Location: perfect for us, walking distance to Old town, lovely view of Virgen de Panecillo from veranda and dining room. Has a very relax atmosphere. Wifi is great! Check in was easy, staff greeted us everytime we come back from tour or just strolling in the city. Food in the restaurant is delicìous, breakfast is just amazing with fruits, toasted Quinoa with yogurt and fresh coffee. Lastly, staff is super awesome, Kevin, James and bright eyed lady (sorry forgot her name) took an extra mile by...
Arrived middle of the night, lost luggage, terrible rental car. Hotel staff went way above and beyond in helping me address every issue in righting my ship to start two week stayou (cell phone, medical, auto, local information, instant personal requeststatement addressed). Beautiful view of city from room, walking distance to any outside needs. Have booked for last night when I return to Quito for flight home
The hotel is located in the historic center so walkable to all the sites. It's a lovely hotel and the rooms are large. The service is exceptional! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.
My time while brief was exceptional. The excellent location and value made it ideal to see everything I needed. I either walked or took a short taxi ride to get to town or different points of interest. The staff was friendly and accommodating and I at the delicious breakfast each morning and even had some dine in food that was fantastic!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chakana. The hotel staff was top notch, the breakfast was delicious, and the filtered water was very convenient! I would encourage everyone to stay at Chakana!
This hotel is centrally located to great spots to eat and shop. Fernando is super friendly and helpful if you need dining recommendations or help booking tours. He even provided a to go canteen of coffee for me to take in an early tour because I was going to miss breakfast, and he knows I enjoy drinking coffee.
