We stayed in this place for 4 nights and had an experience of a lifetime. Staff were just absolutely respectful, professional and accommodating of our needs anytime. The food is like an other hotel where selections are limited. However, we would still rate their food with 4 stars. We stayed at the Quinta S. Bernardo in late September and we can’t say enough about this property! The property is just beautiful with a stunning view of the Douro River and surrounded by the vineyards. The Quinta is family owned and lovingly and beautifully designed and decorated. All our meals were straight from the farm, from the breakfast to the lunches to the exquisite dinners made by the chef, everything was incredibly fresh.

This property is not only historic but recently updated to freshen it up. The staff was absolutely wonderful and the views cannot be beat. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wine-centered place to stay in Lamego!
