We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Candor. They are pet-friendly and the staff was always present and helpful (whether at the front desk or in the dining area). The village and hillside view from the room was beautiful and peaceful. There were some neighborhood dogs that barked regularly, especially at night and early morning, that prevented us from keeping the doors open as much as we would have liked. The rooms are very soundproof, though, and it was completely quiet with the doors/windows...
This is a lovely rural property that provided us the retreat that we needed. We had the “Moucho” room which had a nice balcony and skylight over the bed. We had great meals in their restaurant and the pool area looked very inviting but the rainy day prevented us from using it. We appreciate how friendly and welcoming they were with us despite our very limited Spanish skills!

En realidad no sabria que destacar porque en global lo puntuaria con un 15 si pudiera, empezando por el trato tan directo de Tito y Lorena que te hacen sentir como en tu propia casa, siempre tan atentos a todo, no se les escapa ni un detalle, Tito se encarga todas las mañanas de plantearte el dia para que puedas disfrutar de lo mejor de cada pueblo o ciudad, los desayunos que prepara Lorena son una MARAVILLA todos los dias diferentes y todo casero increible, la habitacion todos los dias...
This is one of the most beautiful historical sites in this area of Ourense and the perfect place to have a nice relaxing time in the middle of a great forest and near a very nice town.
We arrived by car, and it was good to be able to park in their parking area which is in the basement. There is an additional cost for parking. The hotel offers comfortable space and all the basica one needs. It's clean and comfortable! It was nice to walk to everything around- churches, historic sites, shopping, restaurants, and more within short distance. This town is also appealing and good place to visit.
This is one of the best places to stay in O Carbalino and I would recommend it any time. It is smack in the center of the city and walking distance to everything you want to see (and eat) in this magical town.
