Only a block from the entrance to Parque La Carolina, the location was excellent for exercising, eating, shopping and banking, if you dont mind a short walk. The guards at the door were friendly, the management was extremely kind and helpful. Very reasonably priced for the size of facility all that it provided.
Besides being a clean, beautiful and comfortable hotel, the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXTRODINARY. I forgot my family's passports and money in the hotel safe and left for the airport which is 40 min away. I didn't realize my mistake until I was in the airport terminal with only 1 hour before our flight. Hotel Finlandia has great staff that speak English and Spanish. The rooms offer ample space with adequate closet space. The bathroom was nicely appointed with a large shower and a small countertop. The Hotel has good security and the elevators only open at your floor (activated by the room key). The bed and pillows were a bit more firm than I am used to, but certainly comfortable enough. Absolutely beautiful property. 2 bedroom 3 bathroom, full kitchen and balcony with amazing views. Located in the perfect neighborhood. Walking distance from restaurants, shopping, and right in front of a huge park. Building Security does an amazing job keeping the building and guests safe. check in was not the smoothest but was sorted out after 15 mins, I should have communicated in advance to get a QR code to present to security guard. Location is best it could be in Quito and view and apartment were great. Would recommend but communicate before hand so your check in is smooth.
Location is convenient with ggod views. 24 hour doorman, always very nice. The bad...communication is non existent with the owner..I sent texts by whatsapp and emailed and both were ignored. I left a couple of weeks ago and never did get a response.
I arrived very late. The hotel owner was there to greet me and check me in. They accommodated a later breakfast time. Was very happy and would stay again!
