"Roof top pool and restaurant was on point. The restaurant food was good. The breakfast was typical eggs, sausages, rolls etc. ..can be improved...otherwise its an ideal place to consider if you don't want to be in an over crowded spot."
"Room was spotless, staff was friendly and location was great as it’s close to the fun, action, party but also apart for when you’re looking to rest. "
"This was my second time on this property and I just love the colonial arquitecture, and romantic private style. Convenient to the main Tourist areas and great restaurants. Maria was amazing and friendly. Will definitely visit it again."

What a lovely hotel! It’s a former house with around 8 rooms with comfortable common areas, including an outdoor terrace and a swimming pool. The price included breakfast between 7 and 10am. Our room had a rain shower head with excellent water pressure. The room also had a fridge and some minibar items. Miguel, the day manager, was helpful and gracious. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from the old walled city in a quiet neighborhood. The old city is fun but quite noisy at night with...
I would recommend to stay
Inside the wall city. This hotel is on the mail road and there is a lot of sound from the vehicles and the traffic is until 11pm
Privado was so cute and safe to stay inside the walled city. It is a must to stay here, it is walkable to everything. The best thing is that the walls are sound proof so you are able to sleep in and any noise or party going on outside you won’t hear. Staff is so sweet and so helpful with restaurants ect around the area. You are a short 5-7 min walk to the clock tour and downtown area. I will be returning back and staying at privado with my family.
We really enjoyed our stay, our room was a good size with a king bed that was very comfortable, everything in the bathroom worked perfectly
The staff were outstanding at every interaction and couldn’t do enough to advise, assist and recommend
The food was very good, piping hot coffee with a great selection at the small buffet then eggs cooked to your preference
The location is great, walking distance to all we wanted to see, there are buildings around the hotel that need renovation but that...
This hotel sits within easy walking distance of landmarks, restaurants, and shops. This location makes it simple to return to the room for a quick break from the afternoon heat. The property is well-maintained. Our guest room and the common areas were consistently clean and tidy throughout our stay. The in-room air conditioning functioned well, which is essential for the local climate. The front desk team was polite, welcoming, and efficient during check-in and check-out. They also had tasty...
SUCH a beautiful place to stay, right in the heart of the walled city. We loved this place so much we wish we had stayed longer! Rooms felt grand, great decor, and rooftop was GREAT! Highly recommend.
This hotel is incredible!! so close to city center and all main attractions in Cartagena . I one hundred percent recommend it, staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast , pool restaurant , carta ajena and rooftop were excellent also so sophisticated. Special thanks to Erick , Adonis , luis, and Lisa thanks for your hospitality it made my stay even more special!
We could not have been happier with Casa Claver Hotel. The hotel is a small beautiful boutique hotel located in the walled city. The hotel is so pretty. We stayed in a large suite with 2 bedrooms plus a loft. Our room had a washer/dryer and full kitchen (which added to the convenience). We were served a delicious breakfast every morning in our room. The hotel has two pools with one being on the roof. The views from our roof top hotel were incredible and I can not imagine a nicer roof-top pool in...
Wow! Great place! In the very middle of the city on the main square. I really enjoy the room. Breakfast was included, but actually it could be more full...
The property is very new, only about a month old so the facility is decorated very beautifully. The staff were amazing, very helpful, friendly, and
always gave great suggestions. The food in the hotel’s restaurant was tasty. Favorite part, aside from the wonderful staff was the location. It’s in the heart of cartagena. It is a very busy area but it’s still seemingly quiet. There are restaurants a few feet away in every direction and many places to explore.
This is actually my second time staying at this hotel. Most times when I travel, I'm usually by myself (and I'm a female), so being in a location that's super safe and that is walkable to restaurants, entertainment, and transportation is super important to me. Also, Townhouse has wonderful food and entertainment options as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful and was able to answer any questions that I had. I highly recommend this place for solo travelers as well as those that are...
My recent stay at the Hotel Casa Don Luis By Faranda Boutique in Cartagena was truly wonderful. The hotel was exceptionally clean, which made for a very comfortable and pleasant environment. The staff were incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure a great experience. And the food was absolutely delicious – a real highlight of my visit! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a fantastic experience in Cartagena.
A new facility opened only 25 days before our arrival, the hotel combined two colonial-era houses with a courtyard between them. The rooftop pool had a panoramic view of Cartagena, and was a lovely relaxation locale for a beer at sunset. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Coffee and cookies was offered at 5 PM. The rooms were spacious and furnished in a hacienda style. The hotel staff members were always smiling, competent, and friendly. The location was so prime that we could walk almost...
Fantastic experience! Staff was incredibly helpful, reaching out before the trip to coordinate shuttle service from the airport. Staff was incredibly resourceful and willing to go the extra mile. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Cartagena.
Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff was so friendly. The room very nice, and comfortable. Excellent bathroom with huge walk-in stone showers. The breakfast that is included was fabulous. The rooftop pool had an amazing view. The rooftop lounge area turns into a hip trendy club like setting at night. It is in the center of old city so you can walk anywhere in the wall city. It is a 2 minute walk to Cathedral de San Pedro Claver. The only draw back to the location is you can hear the...
