Beautiful harbor with fun surf beaches close by. Dining was limited in the town on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

A quick overnight trip en route to Russell but a lovely place. Super clean and well equipped. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Beautiful place on the beach with a world class view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nice restaurants nearby too!

I like old buildings so that was cool. Location is great. Only downside is parking is tough.

The room was clean and the staff were helpful. I had a late check in and it was no problem. They did an early check in for us and left the key in our room with the door unlocked.

Comfortable, quiet, well-equipped studio apartment with good Wifi, easy parking and friendly staff. It may not be walkable, but Uber is an easy option to get around.

This was an excellent place to stay, and an excellent value. Easy parking, walkable to restaurants, and very friendly and efficient check in. Would not hesitate to stay again.

It's a little bit outside Whangarei, but really I don't know why you would want to stay in the town itself since all the fun locations are closer to the coast. Overall it's a great hotel if you need a place to crash for a couple of nights. The standard rooms are small, but they have everything you need and are quite clean for a motel. The staff is friendly and the main lounge/restaurant area is comfortable and spacious. Can't really go wrong staying here if you don't want luxury.

Beautiful little place to stay out of the city with very kind and accommodating owners. Right down the road from a bunch of little shops and restaurants too.

A nice little stay along the way in this family-run motel. Cute themes and well-kept facilities roll back the memories of a slower, simpler world.

It was the best service ever. No paperwork just walk in the office, he hands ur key to you and walks u to ur room and says have a good night. Thats the way the rest of the world needs to be. Parking was very tight tho so better be a good backer upper and have small car to be able to park because also have to back all the at out the same way u came in.

My fiance and I have stayed here multiple times. Very comfortable and convenient. Run by very nice people that are very good at maintaining a clean property.
