The Patravana Resort is a new hotel located outside Khao Yai national park, comprised of several multi-suite villas. The word "resort" tends to be a bit abused in Southeast Asia, we've found. Although the room was certainly nice, don't plan to be wowed by the other facilities. The pool is small but perfectly nice, the fitness center is very small, and there is just one restaurant with good food, but service on the slow side. Our kids loved the hotel's provision of fish food to feed the catfish...

We entered the parking lot of a lovely new hotel. We were promptly greeted by the security guard who assisted us with locating the front desk and with our baggage. Everyone was very helpful throughout our stay. The front desk clerks and manager were very nice, helpful, and spoke English. We felt very welcomed. Our room (401) lies on the corner of the building with magnificent views of the surrounding hills - absolutely beautiful. One thing that caught my attention was the use of artificial turf...

Beautiful hotel situated in a green forest by the river. Fantastic ,polite and helpful staff, gorgeous room (had a large corner room), incredible nostalgic ambiance both with room decor and the rest of the hotel public areas, excellent WiFi. A great place to relax. Few minutes drive to national park. Unrelated to the hotel, but do keep in mind that this is somewhat remote area so a stay there will be far better enjoyed if one has their own car. There are many places to visit around the area...

Our party of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this peacefully oasis. The scenery and setting were both magnificent, and every member of the staff we met went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was extraordinary and served in a very beautiful room with views of the mountains. Our stay was overnight and we all wish that we plan to stay longer and enjoy the serenity of the resort and the surrounding areas.
