I loved my stay! The views are spectacular and the food at the restaurant below is delicious. The staff there are lovely and very helpful. Be aware that there is no front desk, you just call to their sister property to get door codes for your room. I liked this but if you’re looking for a traditional hotel, this isn’t it. They were very helpful over the phone and let me have a later checkout. FYI, the restaurant does not serve breakfast, so be prepared to drive to Smithfield or Williamsburg...

We had a wonderful stay! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever we had questions or needed directions. The continental breakfast was very tasty, and the coffee was delicious—a great way to start the morning. The air conditioning worked superbly, keeping the room comfortable throughout our stay, including on the cooler evenings. All in all, it was a very nice experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel to others!

Upon arrival I was told my reservation was not in their system, and was that they were having problems with Expedia over the last few months. Fortunately the desk employee, Conley, calmly called numerous numbers, and after about 45 minutes was able to perform a workaround to get our reservation in their system with the correct rates. Kudos to Conley. The lesson here is call to confirm your reservation even though Expedia's itinerary states you don't have to because it's confirmed.

We had a great stay. The place we got was a two bedroom, 1 King bed and 1 Queen bed with a sofa bed in the living room. The bed was firm, which I am not use to, but it was very comfortable. The pillows were a little high; they were uncomfortable the first night. By the second night I figured out how to lay on them so I could sleep comfortably. The room was spacious and comfortable.
