My husband and I stayed here for two nights at the end of June and it was spectacular. The food, service, activities, spa, and grounds exceeded our expectations. We were a part of the first group of rafters allowed into (and out of) the lodge following the torrential rains and at no time did we feel unsafe. The location was beautiful and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again. While we had some problems at checkout (they couldn't run a credit card because the staff at the desk "didn't know how"-- we had to pay in cash). I'm assuming this was an anomaly, as the rest of our stay was very enjoyable. Rooms are large and clean, although not air-conditioned, which was fine. Excellent food and caring staff. Can't beat the location and view.
