Fun, funky and artsy boutique hotel just a few steps away from the pedestrian shopping area and the park. Spacious room with a welcome decanter of port, but no in-room
fridge or coffee maker. Wonderful staff and breakfast with a nice buffet selection and cooked to order eggs and bacon. Small inconvenience of no onsite parking and no place to pull over to unload bags. No lift, so be aware that even if you book the 1st floor, it's really the 2nd floor, as the first floor is "Piso Zero" there.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to leave my bags before and after my stay so I could get in extra site seeing. Breakfast was delicious. Location was great, just off the Main Street, so quiet. Only a 2 min casual walk to the beach!

This is a beautiful hotel, in Óbidos, a very unique and special place. The location is perfect for exploring the area, just outside the walls. This hotel distinctly celebrated books and the building was formally a convent. The food was delicious and the bed very comfortable. The only challenge is the stairs are very cumbersome for luggage. I ended up just pulling out necessary items rather than lugging it up several staircases. That, and parking, but it is a medieval city, so use judgment of...
