We had a great experience at this Hotel in Lindau. Not far from the island by car (couple of minutes away). Room was new, great bathroom also.

I'll be traveling to Heerbrugg on business regularly after this trip. Most colleagues stay in Dornbirn across the border, but they were all sold out. Found this place and was on the St. Gallan to Heerbrugg rail line so I gave it a try. Amazing. Better cost value than the Sheraton Four Points in Austria. True castle with all modern room amenities. Honor system for helping myself to a bier after desk closed. So unbelievably quiet inside during the night time. Fabulous restaurant. Beautiful...
A modern hotel cloaked in an aged skin. Sometimes wish they wouldn't but there is nothing to complain of. Everything was clean and convenient...Lovely location.
2nd time we've stayed at this hotel. Rooms are large and quiet. We stayed in the least expensive category room and it was just fine, king bed, large room and bathroom, and a window overlooking the inside courtyard. Breakfast was included as was wifi and both were excellent. Train station is across the street which is great if you are traveling by train, but because the station is small there's really no noise, congestion, or questionable areas. We had a very relaxing stay in this beautiful location on the lake, next to a beautiful park for strolling along the lake and the trees. The hotel is large and spacious, and the views of the alps across the lake are stunning. The town of Lindau and the island with the lighthouse are a great nearby diversion. The lobby and patio areas have stunning lake views, and breakfast or lunch on the patio is wonderful. We really enjoyed walking through the neighboring park and relaxing by the lake. ...
Room and stay were great. Only issue was knowing where to place the room card on the reader to enter our room.

The bathrooms have been recently upgraded and it looks great. The rooms are clean and the location is great!
Parking: You have to park in the lot across the street which is inexpensive. They only charge for daylight hours, so we only paid a few Euro. However, if you are planning on staying a few days, expect to pay 30+ Euro, depending on your trip length.
Nice location. We didn’t need a car, because it’s only ten minutes walk from train station and ten minutes walk to old town, just across the bridge.
