Great staff, great rooms, great location, great prices

Not so nice staff, and saw some flies on the breakfast food on the buffet

. We booked the hotel because it was close to the airport and we had an early flight. We were so surprised when we arrived as it's huge and grand. We had no idea of the magnitude and wished we could have stayed several nights. We had been touring the Western Cape for two weeks and were just too tired to take advantage of the many offerings. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

great experience with hotel but shocked about expedia rates which are double the price of the hotel

KLM fed me some poisoned breakfast on the 2nd leg of a 3-legged dog, 32 hour journey here, leaving me vomiting from both ends on the flight from AMS to CPT. This gave me the perfect excuse to do what I came here to do - absolutely nothing. I'm going into day 3 of a 4 day stay and have only left the hotel once to get anti-acid from the store down the street. I just wanted to come here to say I went to Africa. I dont want to annoy a lion or try to bury some white guilt in visiting Nelson Mandela's...

My teenage daughter and I recently stayed at The Marly. The hotel was perfect in every way. Great location and very safe. Attached to amazing restaurants and across the street from a gorgeous beach. Even saw whales swim in the bay. Very easy to get to cable mountain. The staff was very friendly so helpful in every way. From arranging packages to be sent home to dropping off something for me at the rental car company. Perfectly safe location and easy access to everything. 5 star all the way.

Good location, good breakfast, and also good ambiance for dinner. Room was basic, but confortable. Good views from the room too. Could be a little cleaner around the waste baskets. It looks like the clean well around it, but not necessarily move it friendly staff and safe area.

stayed here for three nights as part of a bucket list trip to south africa, great base for exploring capetown, up the hill on trendy kloof st. Lovely converted mansion, super comfortable room. Awesome individually cooked breakfasts. Walkable in day time to waterfront area. Several great hip restaurants around nd the corner, in particular Black Sheep cafe where we ate several times. Easy uber pickups. Near the gardens and museums.

This is the best Hotel in cape Town. The location is perfect just in the best area of Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. It is a beautiful and very convinient hotel. We loved our room and the special welcome gift. Everything was perfect. The best breakfast I have ever had in any hotel, they had champagne every morning and a delicious full breakfast. We also had dinner several times and the food fantastic. The staff were great and very kind and helpful all the time. We spent a wonderful week there....

Great stay and easy to get to other places. The hotel is very quiet and peaceful and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Radisson Red usually get poor reviews. This was our first stay and we really enjoyed it. We did not "upgrade" our room and it was a good size with plenty of closet space and places to put our luggage... granted one suitcase was on the table, but there was plenty of space on the table. Bed was excellent. The only minor downside was the HVAC was inconsistent, but not uncomfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. AND the staff was the most accommodating and friendly I've ever encountered. Other...

It was a very nice place to stay, especially the bar/restaurant, canal, and nightly music!

We enjoyed our stay in Caoe town, the location of the hotel was great. An easy walk to the ocean and the sunset.
