Room was clean and well maintained. No issue checking in, it was simple.

While the property is 30 years old, it retains its focus on guest service. Plenty of amenities, including spa, pool, health club. Included if on club floor. Also a convenience store and wonderful service. Rooftop restaurant and other restaurants. Breakfast was included for me. I feel it was an excellent value. The location can’t be better. Walkable to Peace Memorial Museum and Atomic Bomb Dome.

Our first trip to Hiroshima, so obviously our first trip to this hotel. Great location, easy to walk to streetcar stops, convenience stores, Peace Center, restaurants. Hotel has a very welcoming check-in area on the 14th floor, which has a panoramic view of the downtown Hiroshima area. We enjoyed complimentary drinks and snacks as we watched the sun set. Had a 2 night stay and everything went smoothly. Room was very comfortable, and the location was great.

Hotel was exceptionally clean, staff was very profesdional and helpfyl.

The hotel offers regular rooms, capsule like bunk rooms, and deluxe rooms. My only complaint is the capsule room doors are just an accordion style shutter. I do appreciate the in bunk television, and the adequate lock table storage. Overall, I had a good stay.

Clean room with good amount of space for 2 people with large luggage. Lots of food options nearby that we didn't have enough time to check out! Hiroshima City is walkable in general; we mostly walked from the hotel to all the main attractions. Loved that there was a momiji manju vending machine in the lobby!

My only complaint about the Toyoko Inn Hiroshima Ekimae Ohashi Minami would be that their beds are a little hard for my cushy Western tastes. The room, albeit tiny, was immaculate, and included a hot pot and teas, a safe for valuables, and a tv. The breakfast spread they put out in the morning was the most substantial one I've seen: onogiri, eggs, salad, various other foods I don't know the names of but were yummy, plus pastries/bread and coffee or tea. Amazing hotel. Categorized as 3-star but lives up to 5-star reputation. Brand new. Elegant Japanese design. Big rooms. Comfortable beds. Excellent service. Just across from the ferry port that takes you to Miyajima island. Might be a bit far from central Hiroshima, but its advantages outweigh this single disadvantage. Very much recommend!
