"This place is a big house, we stayed in a room that shares a bathroom with other room, we were next to the bath, it was noisy because the door had a hard closing door. I would prefer the room further from the bath. I was informed that the bed is a queen size, we doubt it, maybe the “extra” double bed very popular in Mexico, we felt it small for us. They had available a king but I have to pay the total price of the room, a price adjustment was rejected, I would loose my full original payment....
"We loved our stay at Las Gaviotas! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms were very spacious, and the large pool was perfect for relaxing. We especially loved being able to walk to the Malecón and enjoy the waterfront. A wonderful place to stay in La Paz—we would definitely come back!"
"The property its very well maintain, the pool was very clean, the staff was very friendly and the food extremely delicious. I give my overall stay 1000/100 it really exceeded my expectations. Will return and stay at this hotel again for sure!"
"Me tocó ser de los primeros huéspedes de este hotel y la experiencia fue muy buena. Es completamente nuevo, tiene diseño muy cool y está muy bien ubicado, caminando a los restaurantes y bares que nos interesaban del centro. La habitación estaba impecable y la cama es súper cómoda. Además, tiene alberca, bar, rooftop y un pequeño gimnasio. Todo está muy bonito, de calidad y se nota la atención a los detalles. Regreso pronto!"

I would absolutely recommend casa 1880 to anybody staying in La Paz. It was the perfect boutique hotel that had the best combination of a small and proper bed and breakfast and a very fancy luxury hotel. Ari and his staff are par excellence and went above and beyond, from great recommendations, to packing delicious picnic lunches for us on days we went on excursions, to just being so absolutely welcoming. The room was massive yet tasteful with all the 5 star hotel amenities one expects, and the...
Leeann was a fantastic host. She is super laid back and easygoing. She had great recommendations for dinner and sightseeing. Our room was comfy and it was nice to have a small fridge and coffee maker in the room. Her property is amazing and in a good location. The rooftop deck was perfect for sunset watching with wine and cheese. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Leeann even accommodated our dietary restriction. She's running a licenced business, and we would definitely return.
Yo, this was by far the most 5 star location I had stayed at ever. The host named Lee made the stay freaking ridiculously awesome. She arranged groceries for us and installed them in the fridge all bougie like (spaced water bottles to fill the shelf, put the eggs in this egg container thingy, and organized the bread and cereal in the cupboard). She arranged taxis for pick up and drop off to wherever we needed for our boat tours and beach 5:30am delivery to one of the beaches and picked us up on...
Great place to stay very comfortable very friendly staff in a great location ,,,, they need to change bartender I've never seen anybody take 15 minutes to make one drink but other than that had a great experience
Perfect location across from the museum square. Beautiful property and huge room. Staff super nice and very responsive. A little loud but that’s to be expected in La Paz.
Excellent choice on the Malecón center! Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful courtyard and birds singing to wake us up every morning. Great stay and we will return.
This hotel is great if you are looking to spend a few days exploring La Paz and the surrounding area. It is walking distance from the Malecon where you can find much of the dining and night life of La Paz and just one block from Oxxo and Pemex for easy access to convinces and gas. If you have a car it is extremely easy to get to Balandra and Tecolote beaches. The included breakfast is also a great perk, and make sure to wake up early enough to get the bread of the day.
The highlight of our...
