For the price point & location, this property is great despite small rooms & showers.

Water filling station in hallway was a first.

I'm a regular at Pod 39 when I come to NYC by myself. It's very minimalist and if I was planning to spend more time in my room, I'd go elsewhere, but exactly what I need when I'm in the city to see shows and check out some exhibitions. Always clean and my room is always ready when I arrive (which has not been my experience at other NYC hotels).

Great location would stay there again.

Great location! Great restaurants nearby! Comfortable beds. It would have been nice though if a little birthday card or something was put in my room! Other than that you cannot go wrong staying here and I’m planning to again!

Great customer service by the team at the front desk, very friendly and helpful. Definitely I will come back but if you planning to dine at the hotel the restaurant is HIGHLY overpriced and drinks are awful. Better to go out and enjoy the city and eat & drink better food.

I usually find myself not entirely comfortable in hotels. This was far from true at Citizen M Bowery! The attention to details in the rooms was inspired and thoughtful. I specifically found the shower to be comfortable, great pressure, never running out of hot water, and easy to maneuver in. The whole room was like that. You feel comfortable. The Citizen M is set up for travelers. There are great spaces throughout- the rooftop bar was beyond gorgeous and the lower level was artsy, fun,...

Room is clean. Bed was super comfy. The views were spectacular! Had a corner room facing Times Square!

A delightful artistic vibe in rooms. Cozy and clean. Not much shelf space in bathroom but that’s not a dealbreaker. 😊

So happy we stayed here. Location is great and the hotel has everything you need. If you are visiting NY, and interested in what happens outside of your room in the city, instead of the superficial amenities or the plastic luxury of cookie-cutter hotels, the St. James is perfect. Clean, wonderful staff, unbeatable location, and at a price that makes sense. Great place!

The only thing I didn't like was the parking situation, but understand it's NYC and parking isn't always convenient.
