"For those who do not require either a pool or a gym, and who want to be close to the Alhambra, this is an excellent choice. Walking distance to the Justice gate of the Alhambra, it is in an area with no restaurants, but the downtown is reasonably close by foot or taxi and there are plenty of food options there or in the Albaicín. . The food is very good, notably the breakfast buffet that includes champaign. The view from the terrace of the modern city below is great, and although the menu is a bit constrained for those who do not eat seafood, it is worth working around that to spend an evening there. The bar makes great cocktails -- I only wished they were larger! -- and the lounge is a nice place to sit and pass the time while enjoying one. The hotel was happy to store our luggage while we waited to be checked into our room after arriving on an early flight. There are some small things that the hotel could do if it wanted to reach 5 star quality...move the soap dish in the shower so it doesn't get in the way while showering, provide more free water in the room and a non-alcoholic welcome drink when checking in ...but overall we were very satisfied."
