This place was perfect for us. The staff was incredibly friendly and informative. There was a claw foot bathtub in the room that was heavenly. There was also a large, beautiful shower. The bed was large and gorgeous. There was street noise outside the room all night, but I had noise canceling earphones so I didn’t hear a thing. I got some for my husband before our next visit this week! Oh, and the breakfast was great!
I love the owners; both are personable, friendly and always helpful. The meals are scrumptious and healthy and the beds so comfortable you want to sleep-in. Magpie Inn is my first choice for an overnight stay in Mineral Wells.
That little place is PERFECT!!! Very nice accommodations for the price. We will always go back there every time we visit. Way better than a typical hotel. Large double shower, 2 bathrooms, nice kitchen, it’s actually pretty cool. Peaceful and quiet and the water is right outside the door! Highly recommended.
everything was comfortable and the staff was accomodating. we were there during the week and it was very quiet. lots of good restaurants in town very close by, and the gas station across the street was nice.

The room was spacious and very clean, including the bathroom and shower. The bed was comfortable but I would recommend bringing your own pillows. The parking lot is well-lit and the area is nice & quiet with some restaurants nearby.
Was checked in in a breeze, room was clean and ready for our stay. Beds were comfortable and was quiet throughout the night. Breakfast was good and check-out was also a breeze.
Everything was pretty well except the AC was really noisy. I want to give a shout out to the front desk attendant when I checked in, her name was Keke, hopefully I am spelling it right. She was absolutely delightful and super friendly and answered all of my questions I had. Thanks again keke!
