The property was clean, quiet and close to town. The restaurant on site was a little disappointing. Be aware that all the restaurants on property and in town close a couple of days each week. Last comment, don’t waist your time and money at Rockies restaurant. Horrible food and maybe the most expensive restaurant in town.
This is a Veteran owned facility. Outstanding property, outdoor fire pit right next to the Big Thompson River, beautiful views of Longs Peak from the balcony of the "Lady Bird Suite". The "Lady Bird Suite" was simply outstanding, super clean, recently remodeled, could not ask for anything more. Owners put a lot of thought in the remodel throughout the property and it shows. Overall fantastic location and lodge. Service and staff were great. The beds are very comfortable and great balconys.
I do have a few suggestions. Add a small refrigerator in the room and a small common area microwave/ coffee station. Logistically this may not work but it would be a huge convenience..

We really loved staying at this hotel! It's right on Grand Lake, which makes for a very fun location. The staff is incredibly accommodating and kind. Our room was clean and comfortable. And the toiletries were a lovely papaya smell. All in all, we were very satisfied.
