Property itself was nice and clean. Very comfortable bed. Area around the property is exactly what you think for Los Angeles. Eve though the area around it is sketchy… there wasn’t a time I felt unsafe. Definitely would stay there again!
Staff went above and beyond in accommodating us. Easy to check in, parking was convenient, room was clean and nice, beds were comfortable. Pool and gym were not open, which would have been nice. We unfortunately had trouble with a flight and had to rearrange plans and staff was kind to let us keep extra bags stored until we could figure out new plans, even though we had already check out. They were so polite and kind! I highly recommend the New Gardena Hotel!
The inside of the hotel is absolutely beautiful, modern and stellar clean hotel. It is like it looks in the photos. They have a lot to offer: big clean modern lavish rooms, coffee, tea , juices, pool all clean and beautiful for a great price. The hotel is near various places to visit and the staff is very kind and accommodating.
This cute hotel is old, but darling. The staff oversees the property like hawks, making sure that others don't disturb your stay. The decor was pretty Asian. I was surprised at how I felt transformed walking through the room's door. What a surprise: so lovely, and caring to every detail. OK, the facilities were older, but VERY well kept and pristine. Hope you have an equal experience. For the price and location, you will feel safe and worry free in your comfortable bed.

The ladies that worked breakfast kept everything stocked until right at 10 am when breakfast was over. The staff were super helpful. There wasn't as much outside noise as some of the other reviews made me think there would be. Beds were comfortable, the amenities were great, and if you're taking a Carnival Cruise the hotel is across the street from Carnival's free shuttle to the port. We would definitely stay here again.
