"Staff were great. I was recovering from orthopedic procedures and could not navigate my stairs at home. The accessible rooms worked out great. I had the use of the pool and hot tub. It was easy access for rides to pick me up. Close to everything on and off SPI. "

"The room was comfortable and clean. The beds did not disappoint. We were definitely too close to the lobby and heard a lot of noise in the morning so if that is an issue for you be sure to ask for the end of the hall- away from the lobby!"

"I travel to the island once or twice monthly for business. Sand Rose is my go-to stay, especially during the off-season when the sub $100 nightly rate fits my corporate travel budget. While not the least expensive room, certainly the best value on the island. After dozens of stays over the years, I’ve never seen a roach. Rooms are always clean. The included breakfast is top notch…I always look forward to it! Great amenities on site, but very well located between Clayton’s Beach Bar (largest in Texas), the Marriott, and the Hilton, giving lots of walkable options for dining and drinks."
