We had a wonderful stay at Lutsen by the Lake! The property is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with absolutely gorgeous views right by the lake. The scenery is so peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and kind, which makes the experience even better. This was our second time staying here, and we’ll definitely be back again! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful lakeside getaway.
Emily was friendly & fantastic! She made sure everything was good. She had a list of great places to hike & see and gave us excellent restaurants & coffee shops to go to.
Room & hotel were clean. The bathtub is very old & had stains but was clean.
Had complimentary warm apple cider when we got there in the evening & coffee in the morning.
They have a wonderful clean sauna & an amazing spa area that was very relaxing!

The location of this property is amazing! Lake Superior is right across the road so amazing views! The hiking trails to the state park are right on the property, as well as a great restaurant. My kids enjoyed the playground, outdoor games, pool table and the beach as well. Our room was clean and spacious. We will stay again when we come back to the area!
Simple, economical hotel with a million dollar view. Had everything we needed and was a great chance to get out of the house and enjoy the North Shore.
Lots of blemishes in the hallways, windows were very dirty on the outside which is a shame with the lake view, windows were hard to open, bathroom door does not close, shortage of electrical outlets.
