This charming 100+ year old inn has so much to offer the traveler: An inviting front porch, rear deck, and comfy parlor for hanging out, antique furnished bedrooms with modern private baths, fast wi-fi, and an included extensive continental breakfast. The beds were very comfortable and the towels fluffy. Every area of the inn is extremely well maintained and clean. Conveniently located in a walkable area close to shops and restaurants. The photos on their listing are 100% current and accurate....
Mountain Quest was very unique and very comfortable. The room was a theme and very clean! The vibe was great and breakfast was very good and home cooked. The property was beautiful. We would stay here again!
I would say the stay was like visiting my grandma on her farm. Just felt like home. Everyone was nice. They had a little breakfast area where you could get like pastries or quiche. Then go sit outside to stare at the beautiful mountains. They also have a cafe for lunch and dinner. Which was delicious. Another plus is its right across from the warm springs pool so you wont have far to travel. On the downside and its nothing to do with the inn. Everything closes at like 8 o'clock so make sure you...
Great place!!!! Restaurant is amazing with a unique setting and wine cellar in an old grist mill. Morning continental basket of goodies was phenomenal! Lots of history in the area and nice to stay with a local business instead of the corporate Homestead, which is beautiful but not the same country feel as here.
The Lodge was very clean and cozy. My husband and I came in for an endurance event and arrived late but was still easy to check in and get settled. Coffee, water and snacks were provided for us. I loved sitting out on the top front porch once the temps started to cool. It was also nice when a few other guests checked in for the weekend.
Wonderful home on beautiful grounds. Wonderful cazebo overlooking a creek boardering the rear of the property. Sandra met us shortly after we arrived inviting us in like family with a tour of the house and our room. Breakfast was marvelous with all you could want.
This is a beautiful resort but way too expensive. They nickel and dime you for every single possible thing, and all rates are way too high. The spa was amazing but not sure we can afford to go back. I think there may be better value elsewhere without all these extra expenses and charges.
I had always promised my 2 younger grandsons to take a train ride when they got big enough to leave their parents for longer than overnight. We arrived at The Inn at Snowshoe on Monday early evening, July 28, 2014. I had read the reviews before I left home and was really questioning the wisdom of staying there BUT with great delight we were more than pleased with the accommodations. The staff was MORE THAN polite and very helpful in directing us to a place to eat. We had NO trouble with the...
